We’ve been comparing property listings online. Finnsta 713, near Fränsta, is one example: a 66 m² home on 3.1 hectares, advertised at 390,000 SEK. The published forest report lists about 1.9 hectares of woodland. A visit and assessment of its suitability for camping would come next.
At our planning rate of 11.1 SEK to €1, that is about €35,100. Within the €70,000 property allowance, that would leave roughly €34,900 for purchase costs, inspections and essential work.
What we still need to check
The listing describes a kitchen, a shower room, a wood-burning stove and an outbuilding. It also lists a private well and wastewater system. We’d need to establish their condition and capacity for guests, the permissions required, and realistic local demand before deciding whether a campsite could work there.
The asking price was checked on 25 October 2026; the euro figure uses a planning exchange rate rather than a bank quote. We would take these questions to the agent, the municipality and local specialists.
